Well this is our last stretch till Josh get home. Not too much longer. We had a nice visit from Erin (Joshs sister) on fourth of July weekend. She had to leave early fourth of july to get back to AR. Ethan and I went to the Batemans to BBQ and hang out. It was fun and yummy food.
Now the next big thing is Joshs homecoming. Not long at all! CAN NOT wait!
Ethan Daniel is 9mths as of June 15. He weighs 20 pounds 6 oz and is 28 inches long. He talks a lot and screams lol. He gets around the house by army crawling, back arm crawl, rolling, scooting on his butt, but not crawling regular. He is more interested in learning to walk than to crawl. He also can pull himself up on things now. He is growing so fast. Josh gets home next month and I cant wait for him to get to be with Ethan.
We just got back to SD a couple of days ago. Ethan and I headed to AZ when he was 6mths. It was a good stay. Got to spend lots of time with family and friends. We miss them a lot.
Time is surely flying by. Which is bitter sweet. Ethan is growing and changing everyday. He will be 7mths on the April 15th, which is also when your taxes are due lol. 7mths! I cant believe it, I cant believe I even just typed that.
Ethan is doing great. Last week he was motorboating all day every day. I guess that is old news to him now. He can roll over whenever he wants, which is rare he likes to just lay and play. He can sit for short periods of time, he is still wibble wobbally. Still likes his baby food. Here in AZ they have tons of different flavors. He just had kiwi, mango and apple for breakfast. I think he liked it. He also started using a sippy cup about 3 weeks ago. From the first day he was a pro. Now when he stands while we hold his hands he will take little steps, he never did that before. He also will wave hello and goodbye when he wants to. He is growing up so fast. :)
I remember after Ethan was born. The lactation nurse asked us the meaning of his name and what we named him. We told her Ethan and she knew his name meant strong. She said he will be a strong willed child lol. But my name has the same meaning and I turnedout OK. But I guess I am strong willed and VERY independent. Which today Ethan displayed.During his first feeding at 5 1/2 mths old he decided he wanted to feed himself and he was very persistent about it. So I let him, he kind of got into his mouth. :) He really liked his baby food. And I positive he is ready he no longer crys or immediately spits it out.
